Program Operations Manager

The Division of Enrollment Management supports core elements of the Mason strategic plan related to enrollment and new student enrollment strategy, retention and graduation. The George Mason University is looking for someone to oversee the Division’s operations that involve partnership development and administrative support for structured international student enrollment programs through the Office of International Enrollment Partnerships (IEP).

Responsibilities:

The position’s main responsibilities will include: identification of new institutional partners; the cultivation and maintenance of institutional relationships; the processing and maintaining of new and existing agreements and contracts; supporting communication plans and regular interaction with relevant Mason departments to facilitate student pipeline programs (campus life, housing, student accounts, etc.); managing international visitor delegations and events; and compiling data to create necessary reports and presentations.

The position will manage the daily operations with direct supervision of an IEP Coordinator position and will report to the Director of International Enrollment Partnerships.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must have the following qualifications (knowledge, skills, and ability) or an equivalent combination of education and experience:

  • Master’s degree in a related field;
  • Experience working with international students and/or international education
    programs (minimum of three years preferred); and
  • Experience with program or project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with partnership management and handling agreements;
  • Experience in higher education or a research university environment;
  • Experience working or living abroad and/ or demonstrated cross-cultural competency skills; and
  • Foreign language skills.
