Admissions Coordinator

The George Mason University, School of Law, Admissions Office is looking for a detail-oriented and energetic person who will assist callers and visitors, recruit, and process applications for admission to the law school.

Applicants should have knowledge of administrative processes and a strong customer service orientation. A highly qualified candidate would have an understanding of GMU procedures, policies and regulations, familiarity with ACES 2 and Banner, and experience in an academic environment. Applicants should be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly. The position requires good communications skills, as well as a friendly, positive demeanor. The position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a diverse community of faculty, staff, students, and external constituencies. Additionally, the Admissions Coordinator will be able to provide substantive project support for all project deliverables and key activities. This is a classified position with a generous benefits package.

This position reports to the Director of Admissions.

Required Qualifications:
- Customer service skills
- Detail-oriented
- Highly organized
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Bachelor’s degree required, or an equivalent combination of education/experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an academic setting
