Production Assistant

The busy Creative Services Department, which produces the university’s marketing materials, seeks a dependable, task-oriented production assistant who can work quickly and accurately under the guidance of the production manager and the account manager. The production assistant will provide administrative and production support by scheduling intake meetings, gathering client inputs, opening and closing jobs, and distributing project files, along with other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the clerical functions of project workflow;
  • Coordinating meetings and conference calls;
  • Conducting data entry and file keeping
    Preparing weekly reports;
  • Answering emails and phone calls from university clients and vendors; and
  • Assisting with special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent;
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, email and internet;
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects with accuracy and efficiency;
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Aptitude for managing immediate tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure while staying focused and organized; and
  • Experience working within a project management methodology or with software a plus.
