Assistant Dean of Career Services

The George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person for an Assistant Dean of Career Services. Responsibilities:

The Assistant Dean of Career Services oversees the career services mission for Scalia Law. This position is primarily responsible for marketing the students and school to prospective employers, advising students, directing a full range of career programs, and overseeing accurate data collection. Specific duties include:

  • Meeting with private and public-sector employers;
  • Counseling students and alumni and reviewing application materials;
  • Overseeing a comprehensive program of recruiting;
  • Networking and informational events; and
  • Conducting workshops and presentations.

Required Qualifications:

  • J.D. degree and practical experience in the legal, public policy, or business sector; and
  • Exceptional customer service, creative employer outreach, and attention to detail are paramount.
