Job Development Specialist, Government Contracting
The George Mason University School of Business invites applications for the position of Job Development Specialist, Government Contracting. This position reports to the Director of Career Services and is part of a dynamic team dedicated to create innovative programs that provide the seamless development of Mason students’ academic and career aspirations. This position is funded from external foundation funding and the position is expressly contingent upon the continuation of such foundation funding. This is a part-time professional faculty position.
The incumbent will be responsible for engaging with employers in the government contracting industry and will strategically develop and maintain strong partnerships with employers and alumni from that industry. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The faculty is deeply engaged in the regional, national and international business communities; and their academic expertise combined with real-world experience provides a bridge in the classroom from academic theory to business practice.
This position is part-time, .5 FTE or approximately 20 hours per week. The incumbent will be eligible for a part-time benefits package, including health insurance, however the incumbent is responsible for the full health insurance premium should they choose to enroll.
